Arkansas Fall Festivals

Don't Miss the Arkansas State Fair

As the leaves in the Arkansas Pine Belt begin to change and the balmy air begins to dry, Arkansas’ fall festival season is just getting underway. Set along the Mississippi River in the Arkansas Delta corridor, West Memphis greets the coming weather change with a unique outdoor celebration – the Arkansas Delta Flatlander.

The daylong festival sees bicyclists venture to West Memphis to embark on an 80-mile bike ride along the Mississippi River – passing landmarks like Horseshoe Lake, the St. Francis Levee, and the Harahan Bridge along the way. Of course, you don’t have to be a biker to enjoy the Arkansas Delta Flatlander. After the biker’s have finished the ride, everyone is invited to enjoy delicious food trucks, drinks, and live music at the Crittenden County Eco-Park in Proctor.

Hop on your bike and leave today – the Arkansas Delta Flatlander is held in mid-October, so you just might make in time. The biker fun continues in the northern Arkansas city of Fayetteville – albeit a different type of bike. Generally held in late September, Fayetteville’s annual Bikes, Blues, and BBQ is a “motorcycle rally with a purpose,” and often more than three days long.

The festival sees thousands of bikers descend upon Fayetteville, enjoying a seemingly endless amount of concerts, car and bike shows, beer gardens, and more. The rally and its accompanying events are held at various venues, but are primarily centered around the West Dickson Street Commercial Historic District, or Dickson Street, as it’s more commonly known.

No fall festival rundown would be complete without mention of the Arkansas State Fair. Over 75 years old, the ASF is a nine-day, family-friendly celebration of epic proportions gleefully hosted in Little Rock. Join over 400,000 annual visitors as they enjoy of delicious food, live music, livestock shows, unique attractions, a PRCA rodeo, and so much more. The ASF is held in mid-October each year at the Arkansas State Fair Complex in Little Rock.
