Greers Ferry Lake

Spread across over 40,000 acres, Greers Ferry Lake is an outdoors person’s paradise, set in northern Arkansas, near the cities of Clinton and Heber Springs. The man-made reservoir features a ton of recreation, including plenty of boating, fishing, swimming, and other water sports.

Formed by the Greers Ferry Dam, the lake scenically sits on the eastern edge of the Ozark Mountains, yielding excellent hiking along the shores. There are multiple marinas for quality boating, and excellent fishing near the Devil’s Fork of the Little Red River.

Lake Conway

The largest man-made lake in the United States, Lake Conway was created by game and fish for sport. Featuring over 52 miles of shoreline, this lake has ample space to spread out and utilize the man-made resource. Lake Conway is stocked with bass, crappie, bream and catfish and is known to be great for fishing. Boat access and docks provide the opportunity to get out onto the open water of the lake which stretches 8 miles long.

Located in the northern region of the state in Conway, the lake is accessible by gravel roads. Fishermen who wish to are able to rent boats and equipment for use on the lake. The average depth rarely reaches above 18 feet, making this water line relatively shallow and easy to maneuver in. In the Springtime Lake Conway hosts the Crappie Master’s State Tournament.
