Marvel at the Planetarium and laser light shows at the East Kentucky Science Center in Prestonsburg before moving on to exhibits about the human body, engineering and natural and earth sciences – all presented in interactive and fun ways to truly engage visitors.
The Living Arts & Science Center in Lexington is a unique place that deftly combines a love of art with the love of science and exploration. The body of the Center is located in a converted antebellum mansion. The grounds are filled with natural beauty, including gardens and a waterfall, as well as pieces of art. Inside, the property splits between the Art Center and a Discovery Center. The Discovery Center draws kids into the exciting worlds of force and motion, engineering, robotics and space. You’ll love seeing their imaginations come to life during a day at the Center.
The East Kentucky Science Center
Planetarium shows and laser light spectacles are always on the schedule at The East Kentucky Science Center in Prestonsburg. Kids and adults are welcome here, and you will love the permanent interactive exhibits that are part of “Science in Play” and “The World Around Us,” which focuses on natural and earth sciences. Exhibits also reveal engineering advancements in “The World We Create” and promote understanding of the human body in “The World Within Us.” Start exploring today!
Living Arts & Science Center
While visiting Lexington, plan to spend quality time together. Visit the Living Arts & Science Center, in downtown Lexington, for a day of fun, educational learning. This wonderful center is located in the 7,000 square foot Kinkead House, an antebellum mansion built in 1847. The center grounds include an outdoor pavilion, a waterfall, beautiful gardens and art. You'll find all of this fun a short drive from nearby Paris and Georgetown.
