Marvel At The Natural Wonders Of Cumberland Gap
Outdoors lovers flock to the borders of Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia to experience the stunning vistas, creeks and mountaintops of the Cumberland Gap NHP.
When you arrive, stop at the Visitor Center at the Southeastern corner of the Park. You’ll love the interpretive exhibits, park maps, films and itineraries available. You can also schedule tours, like the Gap Cave Tours and Hensley Settlement Tours.
There are over 80 miles of hiking trails throughout Cumberland Gap that can appeal to hikers of all skill levels. There are numerous points of interests, including Gap Cave, Pinnacle Overlook and the Hensley Settlement complete with the village, cemetery and homes. You can even walk the Wilderness Trail, like the Native Americans, early settlers and Civil War soldiers before you.
