Visiting North Carolina's Piedmont Region
The Piedmont region in North Carolina is a brilliant stretch of open pastures, rolling hillsides, and some wonderfully dense woodland.
From Charlotte and nearby Huntersville, all the way out east to Greenville and Tarboro, you’ll find an impressive mix of warm, welcoming communities and top-end attractions. And during the fall and winter, the Piedmont is arguably at its most vibrant.
Charlotte is the epicenter of tourism and entertainment within the Piedmont region of NC. Plan your visit for this coming fall or winter and enjoy a pleasant batch of can’t-miss events, festival, and more. Whether you catch a Panthers game over at Bank of America Stadium, or play 18 stunning holes at Dr. Charles L. Sifford Golf Course, Charlotte will yield full days of fun.
The city of Creedmoor, found almost directly north of Raleigh and Garner, will be hosting one of its premier events this fall. Plan your visit to this welcoming city for in September and check out the Creedmoor Music Festival held along Main Street in downtown Creedmoor.
