Four Corners Monument
Completed in 1912, the Four Corners Monument preserves and commemorates the quadripoint of four southwestern states: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah.
Set in northwest New Mexico, the monument is maintained by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation. Be sure to stand and get a photo of the famed Four Corners Monument on the ground, or see the nearby Four Corners Vietnam Memorial Wall.
The Four Corners Monument offers several self-guided hiking trails – including the Dancin' Horse Trail, which takes travelers to the top of Mountain Lookout Butte. Peak season is from Memorial Day Weekend to mid September.
