Hearst Castle
A landmark of California attractions, Hearst Castle encompasses 250,000 acres and 14 miles of coastline, in the beautiful central coast region of California, near San Simeon. It was built from 1919 through 1947 and was a private home for William Randolph Hearst until 1947. The Castle has been maintained as a state historic park since 1957 and is a National Historic Landmark mansion.
The Grand Room Tour, the Upstairs Suites Tour and the Cottages and Kitchen Tour are new tours offered in addition to Tours 1 – 5 and Gardens and Vistas. One of the highlights of the tours is seeing the Neptune Pool and the incredible views of the mountains and ocean.
