With over two miles of paved track, the Laguna Seca Race Track is located just outside the central California coast of Salinas. A premier attraction for race fans visiting Monterey or Salinas, the Mazda Raceway opened in 1957 as the Laguna Seca Raceway. It features exactly 2.238 miles of track and 11 turns.
Some of the major events hosted at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca include the United States Motorcycle Grand Prix, the American Le Mans Series, and the Monterey Historic Automobile Races. One of the most popular non-auto racing events held here is the Sea Otter Classic, a cycling event in April.
