Enjoy Skiing and Snowboarding at the Snow Summit Ski Area
If you’re visiting California in the winter, make your way to the Inland Empire to explore the Snow Summit Ski Area. This family ski resort is located in Big Bear Lake and has become one of the region’s premier ski and snowboard destinations. The summit features 31 trails that encompass 240 acres of land and has 14 ski lifts. You’ll find a variety of runs ranging from beginner to difficult levels so there are plenty of options for the whole family.
If you happen to be visiting this summit during the summertime, hop on one of the chair lift rides to enjoy beautiful views of the mountain. You can even rent a mountain bike to go biking through the San Bernardino National Forest where you can enjoy beautiful natural sites and lush forest landscapes. Big Bear Lake can also be a relaxing respite during the summer months and a great destination for soaking up the California sunshine.
