Visiting the Las Vegas Area
Las Vegas lives up to its famous moniker – The Entertainment Capital of the World – this fall with a dazzling array of spectacular shows, musical performances, under-the-radar fun, and so much more. Plan your next visit to Las Vegas soon and experience a wide-open world of live entertainment like no other place on the planet.
Whether you stay in the heart of Las Vegas, or drive in from nearby respites like Henderson or North Las Vegas, you’ll find just the show to entertain you and the whole group. Traveling families often find their way to the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum, and the All-American Sportpark is a great way to spend an afternoon – there’s a 40-foot rock wall, and some excellent go-kart racing at the NASCAR SpeedPark.
From October 12th to 29th, see the iconic and legendary Elton John during your fall visit to Las Vegas. Head to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace during this stretch of mid to late October and watch as Sir Elton tickles the black and whites. Each show lasts roughly 90 minutes and begins at 7:30 p.m.
Check out another iconic in the music industry at the House of Blues. Head there between September 14th and 25th to see Santana live on stage. The House of Blues will also be hosting The Specials live on stage on September 30th.
Las Vegas might have all the big-name headliners, but nearby Henderson has all the heart. Make your way to the Henderson Convention Center on September 10th and 11th for the Ho’Olaule’A Festival 2016. Celebrate the rich, local Hawaiian heritage with live music and dance, authentic food, a beer garden, and on Sunday, don’t miss the car show.
Enjoy an evening of culture, class, and extraordinary musical talent – it’s the Henderson Symphony Orchestra. Join the HSO at the Henderson Pavilion on September 16th for their season opening show. This is the HSO’s 30th anniversary, and they’ll be performing at 8 p.m.
Later in the fall, on October 27th, enjoy a Halloween celebration with the kids in Henderson. Explore the Trunk or Treat event held at the Black Mountain Recreation Center starting at 6 p.m. There’ll be a costume contest, candy giveaways, and plenty of fun for the kids.
