Fleischmann Planetarium & Science Center
Constructed in 1963, the Fleischmann Planetarium & Science Center is located on the University of Nevada-Reno campus. The planetarium features a host of interactive exhibits including the Foucault Pendulum, the Gravity Well, and the Spitz SciDome digital projector – a high-resolution immersive visualization tool.
A must-see – the Star Theater frequently shows large-format films and star shows. Northern Nevada and Reno visitors are encouraged to view educational programs available in the classroom or stop by the Gift Shop for commemorative clothing, toys, books, and software.
