Yerevan is the capital and largest city of Armenia, and one of the world's oldest continuously-inhabited cities. Others include the Modern Art Museum, the Children’s Picture Gallery, and the Martiros Saryan Museum. There are many private galleries currently operating with many more opening every year that feature rotating exhibitions and sales.
Tourism in Armenia is developing year by year and the capital city of Yerevan is one of the major tourist destinations. Nightlife in Yerevan includes visits to the various pubs, nightclubs and restaurants as well as strolls in the parks and gardens situated around the city.
