Strasbourg Hotels

Go for a stroll in the Orangerie Park and make the most of the zoo, the city farm and the waterfalls. Known as the oldest park in Strasbourg, l’Orangerie is a perfect spot for romantic strolls and leisure picnics.
In you feel like a cultural afternoon, go to the Alsatian Museum on the south side of the river displaying a collection of folk art, furniture and domestic items. Then head up to Rohan Palace, former residences of the Bishop Princes and now home of the Museum of Fine Arts and Decorative Arts.
Eventually, you can go to the Council of Europe flanked by flags of all the European countries and attend to a Parliamentary Assembly Debate, held in the Assembly Chamber during a plenary session.
At the heart of the city, find the Grand île, a UNESCO World Heritage listed island with at its center, a fortified medieval town. Have a look at the Gothic Notre-Dame Cathedral considered one of the most beautiful monuments of Western architecture and overlooking the island with its pink sandstone façade. Take a view on the cathedral’s viewing platform from where you can get a wonderful snapshot on the city, the Rhine plains, the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains.
Strasbourg Christmas Market is not to be missed if you have the chance to visit the city in December. Indeed, Strasbourg Christmas Market is one of the largest in Europe. Dive into a magical atmosphere made of sweet scents and giant illuminated Christmas trees. Throughout the city, you’ll find stall with typical Christmas decorations, arts and crafts and seasonal Alsatian delicacies.
