The second part of the Fall Promotion is a ‘burn’ period, where Best Western Rewards members can redeem 10,000 points for an exclusive offer for a free night valid for a stay at any Best Western branded hotel in North America. The free night is valid for stays taking place between November 1, 2017 and January 31, 2018 (Promotion is subject to cancellation or change without notice). Does a guest need to make advance reservations for the free night under this promotion?
Yes, advanced reservations are required. Advanced reservations can be made on bestwestern.com, through the mobile app, by calling the hotel directly or by calling Best Western Central Reservations at 800-780-7234.
I already made a free night reservation during the promo period at a higher point level, do I need to cancel and rebook my reservation?
No! If your free night reservation is during the promotional period, November 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018, then your reservation will automatically be reduced down to 10,000 points. There is no need to cancel and reschedule your reservation. The discounted point level will be deducted from the Best Western Rewards members account at the hotel.
What should I do with the free night voucher I redeemed my points for prior to the 10,000 point rate change?
The unredeemed voucher you have can be voided and the points returned to your account, by calling Best Western Rewards customer service at 800-237-8483.
Can I purchase points that I can later redeem for a 10,000 point free night?
Yes, you can purchase up to 5,000 points as a one time courtesy during the promotional offer to use towards one free night reservation during the promotion period.
Why don’t I see any international properties available at 10,000 points?
This offer is only available at our Best Western branded hotels in Canada, Mexico and the United States (including the Caribbean).
When will the points be taken from my account?
The points will be removed from your account on or around check-in/out for your stay. You will need to have 10,000 points per free night available in your account or the hotel will charge the full price of the room to the credit card you provided for guarantee.
What if I need to cancel my free night reservation?
All reservations, including free night reservations, are subject to the hotel’s cancellation policies. If a free night reservation is not cancelled by the required hotel cancellation deadline and the guest is a “no show”, the Best Western Rewards members credit card provided for guarantee or the members account will be charged the proper amount of points or dollars for the date of the free night reservation.
Why don’t I see any free night rooms available at the hotel I am interested in?
Free night rooms are subject to availability for any given property on any given night and can sell out. If you do not see availability, then you may need to check another nearby hotel.
Is registration required to take advantage of the 10,000 free night discounted offer?
No! Any Best Western Rewards member in good standing with at least 10,000 points in their account has the ability to book a 10,000 point level free night reservation during the promotion period.
I was gifted a 10,000 point free night voucher, when will it expire?
All 10,000 point free night vouchers associated with the discount offer will expire January 31, 2018.
I am having trouble booking a free night with more than 2 guests, who should I call?
Free night reservations will accommodate up to two adults and two children. Additional fee’s may apply for additional adults and are up to the discretion of the hotel. For additional help contact Best Western Rewards customer service at 800-237-8483.
What does my free night room reservation cover?
A free night stay in a standard room at any Best Western branded hotel in North America includes the cost of the room and room taxes, but does not include incidental charges, resort fees, or other fees that the hotel may charge, such as parking fees.
Is there any limit to the number of 10,000 point free nights I am able to book?
No! The only limitations are dependent upon the number of points you have in your account and availability at the hotel.

Best Western Rewards® 2017 Fall Point Redemption Offer Promotion (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions
Best Western Rewards members (“Member(s)”) may redeem Best Western Rewards (“BWR®”) points for a Free Night Stay* at a discounted rate of 10,000 BWR points at any Best Western® branded hotel in North America (“Participating Hotel”). Redemption for BWR points at the discounted rate can only apply to reservations made for stays which occur between November 1, 2017 and January 31, 2018 (“Promotion Period”). Advanced reservations are required.
*A Free Night Stay for purposes of this Promotion is defined as one night in a standard room at any Participating Hotel, including the cost of the room and room taxes, but excluding incidental charges, resort fees (at some locations), and any other fee that the Participating Hotel may charge (e.g., parking fees, etc.).
To reserve a Free Night Stay using your BWR points, visit bestwestern.com, a Best Western affiliate website, or the Best Western mobile application; call 1 (800) 780-7234; or book directly through a Participating Hotel. Members should log into their accounts to verify they have enough points to book the Free Night Stay before booking. Free Night Stays may not be booked through travel agents or online travel agents and are not commissionable.
Free Night Stays may be gifted to a recipient of your choice in the form of a printed or electronic voucher (“Promotional Voucher”). Promotional Vouchers are only valid at Participating Hotels during the Promotion Period and will expire on January 31, 2018. Reservations for a Free Night Stay using a Promotional Voucher must be booked by calling 1 (800) 780-7234. Promotional Vouchers cannot be split over multiple nights or multiple Participating Hotels.
If a Free Night Stay reservation is not cancelled by the date established by the Participating Hotel’s cancellation policy, the Member’s BWR account may be charged 10,000 BWR points per Free Night Stay and/or the credit card provided at the time of the booking may be charged for any other charges due to the Participating Hotel, at the discretion of the Participating Hotel.
Members may only purchase up to 5,000 BWR points during the Promotion Period to be used toward one Free Night Stay during the Promotion Period.
No extensions, substitutions, or replacements available. Promotion is not valid with any other offer, promotion, rebate or discount. Free Night Stays have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or travel cards. Promotion is subject to cancellation or change without notice. All BWR program rules apply.
