The promotion offer is “Get a $10 USD Best Western Gift Card (Travel Card) for every eligible stay between December 1, 2017 and January 31, 2018.”  What is an eligible stay?  
Best Western Rewards members must complete one eligible stay to earn a $10 Best Western Travel Card. An “eligible stay” for the purpose of this Promotion is defined as any stay of one or more consecutive nights at the same Best Western branded hotel, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, a stay booked through a tour operator, or a stay booked at a special discounted rate (see Best Western Rewards program rules for further information on eligibility criteria). Multiple check-in/check-out at the same property with less than 24 hours between check-out and check-in will count as one eligible stay. Eligible stays which take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before January 31, 2018 to be counted towards the Promotion. Eligible stays which take place during the Promotion Period, but which have a check-in date that overlaps the beginning of the Promotion Period, will be counted towards the Promotion.

How long does it take to receive the $10 Travel Card after I have completed my eligible stay(s)?
Best Western Rewards members who have qualified for the promotion and have a valid email address in their account profile will receive a virtual (by email) $10 Travel Card within 2-3 weeks after they have completed the qualified stay. The member must have a valid email address on file for award delivery.

Do Best Western Rewards members need to be REGISTERED for this promotion to be eligible to earn a $10 Travel Card?
Yes. Best Western Rewards members must be REGISTERED for the promotion PRIOR to their first eligible stay applied to the promotion to qualify for the $10 Travel Card. Best Western Rewards members can register for the promotion online at bestwestern.com/winter; by logging into their Best Western Rewards account profile and registering through their profile, or at the property front desk.

How many $10 Travel Cards can a Best Western Rewards members earn during the promotion period?
Each Best Western Rewards member can earn unlimited $10 Travel Cards during the promotion period. Promotion is subject to cancellation or change without notice.

When does the $10 Travel Card expire?
Expiration dates will vary. Each $10 Travel Card will expire and must be used at a Best Western branded hotel a maximum of 120 days after fulfillment from Best Western International. Expiration date(s) will be stated on the delivered Gift Card(s).   

What if I have a valid email address in my Best Western Rewards account profile but I prefer to have a plastic $10 Travel Card mailed to me?
No plastic cards will be distributed for this promotion.

Can all Best Western Rewards members participate?
Yes. Best Western Rewards Members who reside in any country worldwide may stay at any Best Western branded hotel worldwide.

Why doesn’t Best Western automatically register all existing Best Western Rewards members into the seasonal promotions?
Asking customers to register for promotions engages them into our Best Western Rewards program and to our brand, and ensures that Best Western is in their consideration set. It also helps us measure the effectiveness of our promotions allowing us to continue to promote some of the richest offers in the market today. We want you to have a choice.

Can a guest redeem more than one of these promotional travel cards during their stay?  (Example – guest earned 3 $10 promotional travel cards during the promotion and wants to redeem all 3 (totaling $30) for their stay at one individual hotel).
Yes, assuming that all gift cards are still valid and not expired, they may redeem more than one gift card for their style.

Can the expiration date on the gift card be extended?
No. There are no extensions given on these promotional gift cards.

Best Western Rewards® 2017-2018 Winter Global Promotion (“Promotion”)
Terms and Conditions

Best Western Rewards® members** (“Member(s)”) who: (a) register for the Promotion (either on bestwestern.com/winter or as otherwise permitted (e.g., at the front desk of any Best Western® branded hotel));(b) complete an eligible stay* between December 1, 2017 and January 31, 2018 (“Promotion Period”) at a Best Western branded hotel; and (c) have a valid email address listed in the Member’s account profile, will earn a promotional $10 USD Best Western Travel Card® (“Gift Card”). The Gift Card will be issued in the member’s local currency. The Gift Card can be redeemed at any Best Western branded hotel worldwide.

There is no limit to the number of Gift Cards each Member can earn during the Promotion Period. Gift Cards will be issued in the Member’s local currency or an equivalent amount in another currency. Promotion registration and Best Western Rewards enrollment/membership required prior to the first eligible stayEligible stays completed prior to Promotion registration and Best Western Rewards enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the Promotion requirements. Best Western Rewards enrollment may be completed by visiting bestwesternrewards.com. Gift Card(s) expire 120 days after the date of issuance. Expiration date(s) will be stated on Gift Card(s). No extensions, substitutions, or replacements available.
