Discover Channel Islands National Park
Explore the five islands off the California coast at Channel Islands National Park, a beautiful destination that’s ideal for watching blue whales playing in the ocean, sea kayaking, and cave exploring. The park accommodates more than 300,000 visitors a year and is also home to a U.S. National Monument and National Biosphere Reserve. You can start your journey to the Channel Islands with a trip to the Outdoors Santa Barbara Visitor Center in Santa Barbara or head to the Robert J. Lagomarsino Visitor Center in Ventura to pick up maps and learn more about activities. This is also a great destination to enjoy a picnic lunch or enjoy a few days of fishing.
