See Cars Assembled on Alabama Auto Manufacturing Tours 

Go behind the scenes on two Alabama auto manufacturing tours and get close-up views of Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz vehicles as they roll through the assembly lines. The plant in Montgomery was Hyundai’s first in the United States and it produces over 1,500 vehicles each work day. Tour the manufacturing plant and see the steps involved in producing Sonatas and Elantras. You’ll watch a video, then board a tram for a guided tour lasting 75-90 minutes. Before or after the tour, browse new vehicles in the showroom and explore the gift shop.

The Mercedes-Benz U.S. International facility in Vance is a short drive from Tuscaloosa or Birmingham. The Alabama plant produces the GLE SUV, GLS SUV, the C-Class for the North American market and the GLE Coupe SUV. The advanced production system uses American, Japanese, and German automobile best practices to ensure safety and efficiency.
