Discover the Best of Central Nevada
If you want to get a taste of pioneer life and discover some unique attractions, make your way to Central Nevada for a taste of history. Much of the landscape in this region has remained untouched and this is where you’ll find the famous Nevada Silver Trails. These include the cities of Pahrump, Pioche, Round Mountain, Beatty, and Alamo.
Outdoor lovers will appreciate having easy access to Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge that sits near US Highway 93. This is the place to see waterfalls, lush landscapes, and native wildlife. You can head off on the hiking trails to see the multitude of rocks and carvings that date back to the days of American Indian occupation here.
Be sure to stop by the town of Caliente to see the bubbling hot springs and explore more of the wilderness area. The old gold mines of Pioche further north are no more but you can make a trip out there to visit the saloon or head off on a hiking adventure.
